A new kind of friendship group is being established in the city, helping to combat the isolation that is a huge problem following the pandemic. A Camerados ‘Public Living Room’ – starts in Salisbury on Wednesday 21 September from 3 till 5 pm at Brown Street – a great indoor/outdoor space in the city. It is a space open to all – to join in – have fun – stay alongside each other and mix with people like and unlike ourselves. The distinctive Camerados tepee will be making an appearance, a safe space to talk, meet others, or just ‘be’.

The Public Living Room is being sponsored by Safer and Supportive Salisbury thanks to a grant from Empower and the group is grateful to Drove Lane Solar Park CIC, a 5MW solar park at Coombe Bissett, owned by Empower Community Foundation.
