Making a difference

Safer and Supportive Salisbury runs a number of small projects, funded through grants, donations and sponsorship from various sources.

An important part of the work of SaSS is to help identify projects that will make a difference. Past projects have included:

  • Installation and training on the use of defibrillators in the city centre
  • Helping with the start up of Salisbury’s Men Shed
  • Supporting the start of the Happy Café for all interested in mental health issues at Salisbury Arts Centre
  • Supporting the start up of a Muslim Women’s group

We are always pleased to be asked to work in partnership with others, to help support new projects that address unmet needs and to support new initiatives.  We are exploring new projects to support post Covid priorities of Mental Health and Diversity and Inclusion – watch this space!
